Built for busy sites
What comes as standard
- No track on the ground. The gate hangs off rollers to one side, so there's nothing for lorries to damage or for leaves, gravel or ice to jam.
- Built to last outdoors. Hot dip galvanised and powder coated steel, for exposed and coastal sites.
- Motors made for frequent use. Heavy-duty 230V motors that keep working at 6am on a Monday.
- Safety built in. Safety beams across the entrance and rubber safety edges on the gate, so it stops if anything is in the way.
- Made to fit. Left, right or double-leaf, any RAL colour, optional anti-climb spikes.
- Groundworks drawings supplied with every order, and a 2-year warranty.
You'll need clear space beside the opening for the gate to slide into, roughly one and a half times the opening width. We measure this on survey.

Access control
Control who gets in, and when
A gate is only as good as the way people get through it. We specify and fit the control side too:
- Open by phone or app: PAL Spider controllers, with unlimited users and set days and times
- Remote fobs that can't be copied
- Vehicle detection so the gate opens on the way out
- Intercoms for visitors and deliveries
No mains power? Our EstateGuard Solar PowerBox runs the gate completely off-grid.

What do these words mean?
-
Cantilever gate
A sliding gate that hangs off rollers to one side, so there's no rail across your entrance.
-
Run-back space
The clear space beside the opening that the gate slides into, roughly 1.5× the opening width.
-
Photocells
Safety beams across the entrance. If a car or person is in the way, the gate won't close.
-
Safety edges
Rubber strips on the gate that stop and reverse it if it touches anything.
-
Fused spur
A standard electrical connection point near the gate. Any electrician can fit one, or we can arrange it.
-
GSM access
Open the gate by phoning it. No fobs to hand out.
-
SMAS Worksafe
An independent health and safety accreditation for contractors. Many landlords ask for it.
Frequently asked questions
Why cantilever rather than a tracked sliding gate?
Why cantilever rather than a tracked sliding gate?
A cantilever gate carries its weight on rollers beside the opening, so there's no track to fill with debris, freeze or be damaged by heavy vehicles.
What's the lead time?
What's the lead time?

Do I need planning permission?
Do I need planning permission?
Most gates on industrial estates don't, but it can depend on height and whether the gate is next to a road. We'll flag it on survey if you might.
What happens if the power goes off?

Will a gate help with my insurance?
